We love a good gin, and we’re always looking local for the best and brightest from around the country to add to our list.
Here are three Australian favourites we are loving at the moment.
Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin, Yarra Valley
The gin that started it all for Four Pillars, the Rare Dry. It’s made from the clear, bright water from the Yarra Valley in Victoria, then triple distilled for clarify and purity.
It captures the essence of contemporary Australia’s heritage in Europe and Asia – with European juniper berries, spices from South East Asia and two native Australian botanicals, lemon myrtle and Tasmanian pepperberry.
Archie Rose Signature Dry Gin, Sydney
This carefully-crafted gin was made here in Sydney just 5km from the city, by the good folks at Archie Rose Distilling Co.
The spirit uses fourteen traditional and native botanicals, each infused and individually distilled in custom-made copper pot stills , hammered out and welded in the Hobart workshop of Australia’s only stillmaker, talented craftsman Peter Bailly. The Signature Dry Gin blend is balanced and wonderfully complex.

Brookie’s Byron Dry Gin, Byron Bay
Lovingly handcrafted on the Brook family’s 4000-tree macadamia farm in Byron Bay, surrounded by lush rainforest, this gin captures the taste of sub-tropical NSW.
The Macadamia farm was grown as part of a regeneration project by Pam and Martin Brook. Inadvertently, this has grown into a pantry for award winning gin.
Local pure Mt Warning spring water brings a mineral character to the blend. Its unique flavour is born when it is bottled with botanical oils such as macadamia and lilly pilly.
